The organizations summarized in the table below have directly contributed to the efforts to renovate the Brendan Grant Memorial Field.  Some of the contributions have been significant.  One example is the complete rebuilding of the entire field drainage system by The Welch Corporation Contractors in August 2002, which required the complete excavation of the entire in-field and relocating it 15 feet north of its previous location.  

All the organizations mentioned below have provided some level of in-kind donations or donated appreciable time and services.  The one exception is the Boston Red Sox Baseball Club and former Red Sox star Dante Bichette, who provided a capital donation of $50,000 to initiate this field rebuilding effort.  There are several organizations who have likewise made noteworthy supportive contributions, but have wished to remain anonymous.  Aside from these organizations, many individuals have additionally donated extensive amounts of time and/or provided supporting monetary contributions.  

This overall effort is a gift from The Brendan Grant Foundation to the Town of Belmont, and on this basis, there has not been any monetary impact on municipal resources.  In the meantime, various local government resources have been extremely supportive in terms of provided important guidance and assistance with this effort.  Special thanks are given to the following Town of Belmont departments: Buildings & Grounds; School; Building & Code Enforcement; Electric Light; and Highway.
