Sunday 23 September 2007: The
6th Annual Brendan Grant Golf Tournament was held once again at picturesque
Souther's Marsh Golf Course in Plymouth, MA under beautiful autumn sunny
skies. The format was the same as in previous years using a Florida Best Ball
format, with a tee-off time of 1:00 pm and a shotgun start. Click

Sunday 24 June 2007:
After more than five full years of intense volunteer effort, the upgrade
of The Brendan Grant Memorial Baseball Field is now completed and a field dedication ceremony
held to commemorate
this milestone achievement. Click
here for the full story. The ceremony was held at 4:00 pm on Sunday 24
June 2007 prior to the evening Summer Senior Babe Ruth League game between
Belmont and Arlington under beautiful sunny June skies. Nearly six years previously, on 27 June 2001,
these two teams were playing when Brendan had his tragic on-field
accident, which has ultimately led to the creation of the Brendan Grant
Foundation and the rebuilding of the Brendan Grant Memorial Field. Click

Sunday, 17 June 2007: Course
records were shattered at the Sixth Annual "Brendan's Home RunTM"
5K Race & Walk held on Father's Day 2007 in Belmont, MA. Click

Friday-Saturday, 25-26 May 2007: The
Third Annual Brendan Grant Memorial Baseball Tournament was held at the
beginning of Memorial Day weekend at the Brendan Grant Memorial Field.

Friday 25 May 2007: The
sixth annual Brendan Grant Scholarships were awarded at the
Senior Assembly at Belmont High School, Belmont, MA to graduating Seniors
Bryan Watkins and Kelly O'Brien. The

11/Mar, 18/Mar, 25/Mar & 1 April 2007: The Belmont Marauders Baseball Camp for boys
and girls ages 5 to 13 was held on four consecutive Sundays at the
Belmont High School Field House from 11 March to 1 April 2007 to help
young ball players sharpen their baseball skills. This camp is
finishing its second full decade of service to the youth of Belmont ,
and it's co-sponsored by the Belmont Recreation Department and The Brendan
Grant Foundation. The Belmont High School Baseball team helps run
the camp, and proceeds go to the help defray their assorted costs
including the annual Brendan Grant Memorial Baseball Tournament.
Saturday, 6 January 2007: The Sixth Annual Brendan Grant Memorial Wrestling Tournament was held at Belmont High School on Saturday 6 January 2007. Click here for more details. This year, fourteen high school wrestling teams competed during this all day tournament. Previously referred to as the Belmont Invitational Wrestling Tournament, this event has for the last 26 years been one of the premier High School Wrestling gatherings of its kind in the Northeast region. During the 1999-2000 season, Brendan was one of the Captains of the Belmont High School Wrestling Team.
